Very nice, 12... For the Painter rookies (like myself), tell us some of the brushes you used.

Painter

I am very new to Painter. I've been working with it for a couple weeks, so I'm certainly no expert. But here's what I do:

I used the Smeary Camel cloner for the entire image. At first, I use 100% opacity. The second pass, I set the opacity down around 35% and smooth out facial features, and leaves and such. The backgrounds I always leave much more rough for effect, and to bring the subject out a bit.

Once I'm happy with the Painter end, I bring it back into PS (CS2), and do the following:

USM, set to high radius (maybe 15), and around 50% for the level, but to your own taste. This gives the image a more surreal look. I also over adjust the levels slightly and increase the saturation a bunch.

I've done children outside for our studio that I've been really happy with, but this was my first attempt at a furry creature.

Re: Creative interpretations: Animals, Cat (Kitten 2)

hi all!!

Everyone in Korea is busy because it is Choo-Suk, the Fall festival, in Korea.
During the Choo-Suk, we eat delicious food, and many family members get together.

photoshop work resizeing (600 * 855)

all have a good time....

Had a quick go in Photoshop - mainly find edges, then water paper filter. The image cried out "watercolor" - but there were so many good versions so far that I tried something else.
The Korean festival sounds cool - of course good eating always does. What kind of food is eaten during Choo-suk?? You will have to give yourself a nickname so we can pronounce it.
