Hi Palms

Your image looks great, but the shadow texture should be the background one instead of the foreground's.

The main-object texture should also bend with the sides.

Couldn't resist a challenge.....

I deliberately did NOT look at Danny's action, so I'd have to figure it out for myself.
Seeing as the CS follks were going without, I did this in CS2. Although it doesn't use any CS2 high fallutin' function, it probably won't run in PS7 because of the differences in the merging logic between the two.

Can hardly wait for lunch time to see what Danny got up to!!

(IIRC - the car is from a thread by Legacy, always wanted to do something with it!)

Here's a PS7 version.
The bottom/right box edge widths are adjustable, so I managed to get just her face on top.

Interesting to see how Danny and I took different approaches. Danny used a fixed size and worked from there. Mine is more variable but involved some geometrical jiggery-pokery to get the masks right.

I couldn't get the action to work Danny

It kept leaving a white line where it was meant to be the shadow for a side of the canvas, dunno what I was doing wrong.

There is a parallel thread over at Marilyn's site.

The VIZROS plug-in came up as an alternative. Although it doesn't do the exact effect straight off, it can be used for this - and a LOT of other effects.

Well worth a look!

I appreciate the feedback.

What version of Photoshop are you using?
