Poor Bara... she's been mosaic-ed, shattered, puzzled, pixelated and filter forged to the max so far and more to come, I'm sure.

Photomaster, you have a bottomless bag of tricks. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with.

Craig, the Filter Forge creations really stand out. Appreciate you giving us occasional peeks at its possibilities. FF might be my birthday present to myself. (29 again... and again, and again).

Lyle, you can add to this thread anytime. It's one of my favorites. The java applet output is excellent. I like the output much better than what I've seen from from most plugins...

Speaking of plugins, I stumbled on this one (Mosaic Toolkit) yesterday. See:

Attachments summary:
1 - Duplicated Background in Photoshop and applied the Squares option (after fiddling with settings)
2 - Blur > Smart Blur > Edges only
3 - Selected Magic Wand tool (Tolerance = 5; Contiguous unchecked). Clicked on an area of black and deleted using Edit > Cut.
4 - Tried various layer styles. When I found one I liked I applied filter Other > Minimum to "thicken up the lines" a bit.
