Stile/Style

A pic taken a short walk from where I live in Buckinghamshire UK, I thought someone may like to experiment with it - feel free.

Pointillism play.

Use Pixel Trash (a.k.a. Flaming Pear's Pixel Trash) and Paint Engine with IceCrystals preset and GIMP's Bumpmap filter for the result.

Peter, what a great picture!

Ro, Alcar, Ikroll, Cathrine... Lovely. Alcar, did you have VanGough in mind.

I was in a "Narnia" mood and felt a touch of snow would be appropriate at this time of year. But being a native Florida Cracker, I don't have much experience with snow in the real world, but here's my attempt.

Believe it or not I found a use for PhotoShop's "Reticulation" filter and I also added some blending mode "Disolve" I've never found subject material that really leant itself to those seldom used filters.

Catherine, we're counting on you.
Swampy, yes it started out as a VanGogh but got out of hand.

Right thats it I give up on DP I can't get results like that. It took me an hour to work out how to get a single brush stroke, and you guys turn out this brilliant stuff.
Can't wait for Ro's Tute on DP really. (hint hint)

I didn't have much in mind for this pic, I just found it when I was sorting out my pics, and thought that it might make a good subject tomess about with.

There is a nice church a short walk from this place maybe if I can find that pic I'll post that one.
