Although there is nothing here that describes HOW to learn these skills, consider it inspiration for what's possible with a lot of practice. This is how I WISH I could sketch!

danny,

that was amazing and fascinating. and i agree, if i could do that i think i'd be doing nothing but that. just always fascinates me to watch someone sketch like that. and the REALLY frustrating part is, that person probably did that just about as fast as that demo!

If you go to http://www.isketch.net , and then go into a virtual "practice" room, you can sketch away to your heart's content...and then save your drawing (and the steps you took, getting there!) and replay it later on. I'm a decent artist...but I look MUCH more interesting, when an anonymous video plays back my sketching at super speeds!

(For those of you who have Painter...you can also do that in Painter...at least 8 and above--play back a movie of what you've done, that is. It's quite enlightening! )
