Re: Old Man - Braggin' Rights

Thanks to all the wonderful RTP people here. Without your inspiration, I would not be able to toot my own horn.

Not to brag...uh hum....yeah right!

After processing this picture I recently took Grand Champion at the district fair held in our area. Chester would be proud.

Re: Old Man

I've been asking around town for the last several months as to the whereabouts of the kind, gentle man who is the subject of the two threads in this art forum. No one seems to know what has happened to him. Someone did come onto his property and bushhog it; and there have been no cows for a long time. I have a feeling this dear soul has left this frail existence. Thank you all for the wonderful pictures of him and for letting me share some of his unique lifestyle with the world.

Janet

Re: Old Man

Sorry to hear about that Janet. I do remember the gent many years ago. Hope you don't mind a chiseled ice sculpture. Some icicles unfortunately formed for the melting/re-freezing process.

Re: Old Man

Lyle your chiseled ice sculpture makes a fitting memorial for this kind, gentle man. He passed away on 18 January 2011. He will be missed.

Re: Old Man

Boneappetit and Andy you have both done this portrait justice--kept dignity, style, and respect. Great job. Thank you.
