| | | The Beach, a Frame and Peacock Feathers Y'all are so creative at combining unrelated images, here are 3 more from Stock Xchange that I thought you might enjoy playing with, using one or any combination of the 3. Please give a few details of your process, 'cause we're all learning from each other |

| | | OK, I'm absolutely sure there are more creative interpretations out there than the one I've submitted. Collage isn't really my thing; although these three images were fun to work on.

| | | Here are my steps (photoshop 7)...
Put the feather image over beach layer and changed mode to saturation. Then masked in cloth of chairs and umbrella. Enhanced the color with levels. Mergered the layers to a new layer, blurred cloth (selected from previous mask), added noise and cross-hatch to cloth. Added frame layer and applied overlay mode. Masked off some of the distractions from this layer.
There you have it! ENJOY |

| | | Can we put a price on creativity? well yes, :o) and in the case attached it seems overpriced!
Great images, but I just can't find my creativity either.

| | Aw, and I thought nobody was gonna give this one a try. These are so creative..............
Garazon, maybe the frame was too obvious a choice, but you gave me a smile with your Dollar Store tag Nice painterly look to the beach scene.
RL, all the elements are there, but they're so understated. Love it.
Ikroll gorgeous framing idea!
Skip, very unexpected, puts me in mind of a framed photo tossed onto fabric.
Thanks, folks for giving this a go.
I'll have to admit I haven't combined them yet, but here's a watercolor I did using just the beach scene. http://www.pbase.com/catbounds/image/55619072 |

I recropped the beach scene and used the peacock feathers as a rug. |

| | Thanks very much, Ikroll & RL. Since I posted these, one would expect I'd have gotten around to doing a combo myself by now. So many toys, so little time! The longer I wait, the harder it will be because you guys are taking all the good ideas!
Swampy, cool idea for a rug. I'm imagining walking on it, gorgeous.
OnAir, that has an aged atmosphere, really like looking into a bygone era. |
