Re: I promised Ro'...

I'm glad to see everyone is enjoying the rerun. It is so nice to see so many and different interpretations. Thanks for the inspirations folks.

Sorry! - It just seemed like the obvious thing to do. Working on 'narrative'

Why be sorry? You did some very nice work. What a compliment to "Bob". I'm sure he is happy to be in his own environment again.

Enjoyed all the images. I've seen a few of these in the wild and it's quite rare. Due to the fact that I live in the "sticks", I used an image from where I live for the background. Thinking about that chicken next, perhaps in the form of nuggets.

Re: I promised Ro'...

hopefully this will work at a reduced resolution. this posted image is of the bobcat as a 3d anaglyph. that's just a fancy name for one of those 3d images you look at with 3d glasses. in this case, you'll need the glasses with the green lens on the left and the right one is red (left and right when you are wearing them).

this was done with filterforge. the filter was made by CF&M over on the filter forge forums. he's the master of this process. i modded his filter a little, but frankly, i dont think i changed his original brilliant job one bit

so, if you dont have the right glasses, go get em. this wont jump out at you and bite your nose, but there is a lot of depth here and well worth viewing. also, give your eyes a little time to adjust once you put the glasses on and are looking at the image. move your cursor over the image to get an idea of just how much depth we're talking about. the cursor shld look like it's embedded within the bobcat.
