it reminds me of something i've seen before but cant quite place when and where.

Thank you, Patricia. It was a fun project. I arrived at the colors by using the pencil in the Curves dialog box. Some of the coulds went to gray so I selected the grays with the magic wand and did a Hue Saturation to move the colors over to pinks.

i like that also. when i first looked i saw so much texture i thought you were doing a weave, a' la lkroll. very nice
