No, I'm afraid that was about it. Used to live near a Swedish family and learned a few phrases. Just about enough to get myself in trouble.

Thanks for your nice comments again.

Thanks...before getting started I did some tweaking to bring out the subject more. I then used Virtual Painter and played around with layers & blend modes.

Never remember all my steps because I tweak...probably too much...when I have the rendering and saturation the way I want it.

I like the way you mirrored the subject and brought out highlights. Nice over-all effect, very eye-catching.

Very unique and creative, Lyle. Well done...

I was inspired by Steve's great colors. The primary effects I used were my #djroil24 Impressionist preset and Alcar's variation of it and Photoshop's Dry Brush filter applied to different layers and combined using layer masks. I boosted the saturation a lot, too.

Thanks for sharing your pic, Patricia.

Nice comments on my behalf Danny.

You got a nice pastel look. And you were able to bring the subject out. I struggled a bit with that before I was satisfied enough to start the actual manip.

Hi everybody,
Let's hope that young girl likes our efforts to paint her...

Tell me about Impressionist Old Master. Is it a self-contained plugin, or a preset for the Impressionist plugin ?

Not familiar with it.

Thanks, Patricia!

Steve, Old Masters is part of the Fluff Oil Paint set and it runs with the Impressionist plugin. If you can't get it, I can send you the set.

Have all a nice day,

Sylvia

I can't locate it by doing a Google. Can you post it here? Maybe others would be interested in it also.

Just one more thing if I may. Where the flip is the .tif file char9d?
Didn't see it with my download. The preset keeps alerting me that it is missing.
