I finally got around to this gorgeous flower. How late to the party am I? I'm also hijacking this thread with another poppy I did a few weeks ago from one I took growing along the side of the road.

Since my thumb seems to be black (inferring that I can't grow anything), I have to say, Patricia, that I envy your green one. Beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing.

Poppy..

Happy you like the photos Janet....No special gardening skills...just throw the seeds wherever...

Here is my pink one...

I had a go at doing oils in Painter IX and put a thin border around in PSPX..

Beautiful Janet.

On this forum, you are never too late; in the past, I've dug up things that were over a year old. lol

Nice one again Patricia, I can't believe I missed this one
barbara: how do you mean? anyone would think I'm obsessed with smudging! By the way I like yours.
Here are two for that!!!! with ahb and smudge on one, then the same one with a little painting on a few blending layers...
