I emailed my SO your devil dog version and he jumped on instant messanging and said he had tears in his eyes from laughing so hard!

Love the burned edge effect and the Lucas, PK. Fits so well with the photo.

Steve.. Re the Carlton Ranch. I don't know fer sure, but I think it has been sold since both Mr. & Mrs Carlton have passed on. Old man Carlton served so well for so many years as State Ag Commissioner and my dad worked with him on several sub committees one of which was the screw worm eradication program back in the late 50's - early 60's out of the Sebring airport location. They traveled on Agricultural missions to foreign countries serveral times and hunted both his ranch and ours for years. A great loss to the state of Florida and the Wauchula community. (Another great Wauchulan is Tom McEwen - Tampa Trib Sports editor for many years).

No I am strictly a computer-art person. My brother who teaches Art History at the local community college is the palette and brush artist in the family.

Thanks much.

Pavel, Very nice. What software do you use? The texture is great! Would love for you to share some of your techniques for achieving that look.

Actually, that was my second attempt to use Painter IX, mostly following the tutorial from "Designer today".
Texture and frame were applied in PS CS2.
