Acrylics I can do, but to get it to look like an oil, well, I still am trying to get that perfected. Modified my Autotrace script and ran it though GREYCstoration. I then opened it up in CS2 and ran Angled Brushstrokes and added some sharpness to it. Cropped and saved (crop to keep the image size down).

Believe it or not Swampy, the texture was adaptively generated for the image useing the vector/GRAYCstoration/Angled Brushstroke combo. Still not freestyle enough for me (I wish there was a more flowing alternative to angled brushstroke that would make it look more like a painter's hand). Glad you liked the result though.

i like that one too and i know what you mean about the angled brushstrokes. every filter i have always ends up with that sort of machined brushstroke. it's almost there, but not quite. i've played around in filter forge a bit trying to achieve the same thing. still havent really got a version i like yet, though.

You all have really captured "Tude", so much variety. I'm glad to report that she is starting to mellow out (now she's 2 1/2) except when anyone comes to the door. She still will not roll over to let anyone rub her belly. I've never heard of a dog that didn't like belly rubs and she does, but only when standing! Geeez.
