There is some really nice stuff here folks. Everyone has such a different perspective on each and their own style that even if pressed, I couldn't pick a favorite.
I do, however, notice that Palms is the only one so far to try the red door. Kudos for being brave enough to be the first.
Thanks all for your kind words. My ankle is healing nicely. The bruises are gone from my shins and from my arms. My knee may just have to be pampered for a while longer. That is no problem as it is way too hot to go out and tromp through the hills.
Janet, thanks for the pics to play with. Glad to hear you're on the mend.
I did this one in Artweaver with texture in CS2.
Great pics to play with!
I loved the red door -
Dark Stroke filter
Stoked up the red and greens
Turned up the noise
I think that was it ..
Lovely scenic photos Janet!!!!
Sorry to hear about your fall....its good to hear that you are on the mend now...
Steve ...two lovely renditions from you...nice style...
Pavel...Like the tritone effect very much....on the first one...
The second one i really like style ,cols texture and all...brings back happy memories of pics on the wall at my Grans when i was a child...
Oltenius....Oh this is nice, lovely bright colors...
Wow Palms you have been busy!!!Like all three but my fave is the red door....well done with the AHB!

Great job on the red door....
Ah well now to my two attempts....
The one with the gate i used the Xero plugin Illustrator...
The barn one i used the art history brush in Photoshop CS2...
Strange...they both look alike????? Patricia.......
Been reading about all your traumas with your other computers...you must have the patience of a saint...or sheer determination to not let it beat you! Fingers crossed you will have it sussed soon!
No filters????Its a lovely painting with a real glow to it...Very nice...
