Patricia, thanks for the encouragement. I've had Artweaver for some time but it wasn't until he added cloners that I found much use for it. The author seems to be pretty actively working on development; by the time he thinks it's ready to be called version 1.0 it should be pretty cool.

patricia, thanks oh, i used filters. i just didnt use any plugin filters

as for the computer, i'm still waiting by the phone. it's now 4 in the afternoon here and i expected a call before noon. i did call them once but 'no, not ready yet'. :sigh:

palms, thanks yup. i've been finding lately that a good hand touch can work marvels over a filter/plugin.

Patricia, thank you.

I tried to make another rendering of the canyon, mostly Gertrudis/VP4.

Thought I'd better paint at least one of the pictures. Maybe I'll get to the others tomorrow.

Keep up the good work all. You are SO VERY inspiring.

Cedar Park ...

Thank you for the welcome patriciakay

I had more fun playing with the Cedar Park photo.

I deepened the shadow play of the fence be reducing the white level, increased the red and reduced the green/blues then applied drystroke and canvas filters.

In the 6 moths I've since my PhotoShop introduction, I've never really used the artisitc filters. I could get addicted!

“The Red Door” picture appears to me as a perfect photo statement. Didn’t want to mess it up, but finally decided to try.
