Forgot to ask a question. I think I saw you mention using Lucis Art. Will the Lucis Art plugin work with Paint Shop Pro. or PS 6?

Thinking of maybe looking it getting it, but don't have PS CS2, (a bit out of my price range.)

Two really nice ones Pavel..the statues looked quite at home in the beachside garden...

Berwin....Think you put in the light very well..makes a big difference to the photo...did you use a plugin or a photo enhancing program?

Janet...Lovely glass look to the statue looks almost like ice!!!
Thanks for including the link to the tutorial you used...

Swampy....Good work and the frame fits it perfectly...if you look in the link you might find another!!!!

Steve...Just looked in the Lucis website and it does say Photoshop...but as many can be used in both, if i were you i would download the demo version to your PSP and see if it works...Its such a useful one to have...

Thanks to you all...

Patricia...

Here's my last statue.

Thanks for the Lucis Art info Patriciakay. That program looks like a stunner!

Well, I agree, he might have hard time trying to find a horse on that summit. Haven't seen any at the time I was taking the picture... He would have to shoe chipmanks or to go back to mining... I guess I can borrow a horse from "London" thread to keep him busy.

Pavel

Thanks Patricia, I used PS with masking for the statue and the claw selection (Ctrl+Alt+~) for the filling in of the lights and blurring after, see palette image attached.

Here is mine. I used buzz on a couple of layers and lucis art on another ... blending mode, Luminosity, and masked out the statue, and then used lighting effects... 5 minutes top. Fun photo.

Another Sharp Control, Autotrace rendering.

I've attached screen shots of my setting this time. Below is the Autotrace script that I use:

Code:
AUTOTRACE -corner-threshold 75 -despeckle-level 16 -despeckle-tightness 2 -output-format ai -output-file c:\temp\d.ai -report-progress %1

Here's the full rendering (don't like lowering the quality to fit specs, so I attached a cropped version with same quality). I did use Warp Sharp Script-fu and some blending to clean some of the white specs created during the vector conversion. I also did some lightening/color adjustments using Color to Alpha set to screen with adjusted opacity.
