Here's mine.

Two selections... wheel and wagon with different color overlays clipped to them.

Also duped the wheel and wagon from the original and added texture then put these on the top of the layer stack with Luminacity Blend mode.

Great picture. Unfortunately had to destroy what I liked most about it - wood structure. Rendering done in Painter.

I hate having my hands tied Swampy, but...

...I'll play fair. I used only filters that came with GIMP (not as many as PS, but they are powerful). I first enhanced the piece with Retinex, and then dupped, ran Radial Blur on the base layer and ran Polar Coordinates on the top.

By the way, Patricia cheated (she used Lucas Arts).

Edit: Didn't see Patricia's reprieve. So now I ask forgiveness.

Okay PatriciaK, your second one does show your dreamy side. :-)

Peter- It does work in black and white. Very nice.

Oltenius - Wow, wonderful texture and color balance!

Pavel-- Yours is so simple and clean looking. Good work in Painter.

Ikroll - That is really wild! You could call it "Wagon in a Vortex" :-)

I like your rendering. Just the right combination of simplification, yet keeping theessential details. Impressionist merged with a sketch layer?
