Craig that is quite abstract but great ( see you can live without filters)
Dan very romantic looking very nice
Steve great as always
Danny a lovely delicate feel
Patricia isnt it enough that you grow nice plants let alone do them justice with your painting ?
Pavel like your background it is like marbling

patricia, thank you and thank you for permission to use these on the FF forum! i love when folks do things like that for me

leanan (forgive me dropping the other part of your name, but the 'si is awkward to type. i mean no disrespect), thank you it was a fun one to do. lots of wild brush strokes on those interesting colors.

palms, thanks
yes, i can live without filters...as long as i know i have them there when i want them

dan, loved the first one.

steve, both very nice.

danny, very delicate. i can imagine that those lightish spots off the flower itself are actually coming from the flower as a gentle breeze blows the petals.

patricia, pink and gray; always a winner

pavel, i've never said this about a flower before, but somehow it looks sad. quite interesting.

palms, quite nice

Craig,

It's quite understandable that the flower looks sad. After what I've done to it...

Think its great when a picture makes you feel an emotion Pavel.....

Here is my Peony in Pink....

I used PDpro...I smudged the flower and smeared the background....Used a lighting effect and then posterized...two different frame actions in Photoshop CS2...

Patricia,
Beautiful painting. It seems you came up with a winning combination of filters. The flower doesn't look smudged, it doesn't look posterized, it looks...painted

Craig...thankyou for your kind words....this was one i really enjoyed doing...

Pavel...Thankyou for your kind words also...I really love PDpro, it all seems so easy and natural in that program....My son bought me the pro version for my birthday but i used the free one for a long time and was more than happy with it! I did like it when just smudged ...but you know how it is just gotta add more and more.... In the link i put the others i worked on before i came to the end result...

Patricia....
