The position cat is in just doesn't register as normal...

Thank you. For the second picture it was a combination of Gertrudis (oil) and Painter (some kind of Impasto cloner) merged in PS with a layer mask.

Thanks for your comments Palms.

I've still trying to find a better mousetrap (edge detection method that is). I do like Xero's Pastellize filter for this, but I think this method (though a lot more steps) gives better results.

Okay - its a very cute cat so I must have a go.
Love yours, Pavel123. I used Painter as well - am messing around, trying to get the hang of the liquid ink pens.

Messing around pretty much describes my work as well. The "painted over cat" came to life by pure accident. I was making a background; planning to pretty much smear everything to non-existence...at some point I realized that I like the image.

I Love Cats! Played a little with it. Cropped. Added a little glint to the eye. Alittle pink to the nose. Blur the background. Crosshatch brush stroke filter.

Pavel your two painter images are super I like it when you are working with one thing in mind then something appears that you like
Margret glad you joined in i do like your ink version
i.ilievski yes i do lilke your style the cat works really well and it makes a feature of her eyes
dmdrm beautiful nice choice of style

Every one has done really well on this cat i couldnt pick a favorite if i had to, the thing that has impresed me most is all the different styles it is great to see
