Solarized effect - sort of. Did a V curve - combined with a "find edges" layer. Added grain, then again selectively using masks. Dragon was then tired so I had to quit.

Nope, its the Flaming Pear Flood filter. Freebie, available from HERE oh, and I painted around the dragon with black as well.
