| Looking for Photoshop Actions for art and in general This is my first time posting here and I am not sure where this question should fit on the forum so I chose this one. Hope that is okay. Please feel free to direct me to the correct forum to post this. A poster here http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=20149812 Listed several pictures that actions were used on and I wanted to know where I can find these actions this poster used on these pictures. Thanks a bunch, Melisa |

| Melissa, Google is doing a pretty good job of indexing forums. I found that it is much easier to google for the subject you need.... My understanding some of dpreview popular actions could be downloaded at http://www.geocities.com/kafuensis/index.html Pavel |

| Some of them look like they might be Mike Finn's actions. I know for sure that pOpArTiSt is one of his. You might try looking here: http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~mikefinn/action.html Janet |

| DPReview action collection Quote:
----------- Hi Melisa. Welcome to RP. Although the two collections at that site are a couple years old, I can confirm there are some pretty good actions among them. I know this because I had the privilege of deciding which actions to include! Included are actions crafted by some of the most talented action authors around, including Kent Christiansen, Dave Jaseck, Bill Mill, Mike Finn, Bud Guinn, Cricket Blake, Sharon Lee Core plus a few by yours truly. Historical note: The assembly and annual posting of the three DPReview action collections (the first edition was rolled into #2) were the precursor to AtnCentral, which offers a much more efficient and timely posting and distribution model. Another advantage: The birth of Atncentral relieved me of the action assembly/packaging/administrative role ~Danny~ Last edited by DannyRaphael; 09-24-2006 at 09:23 PM. | Re: Looking for Photoshop Actions for art and in general Hi again, Melissa. RBS is Randall Smith. He put together the first batch of our actions for folks to download at DPReview in July of 2002. They were mostly his and Dave Jaseck's. Danny's subsequent efforts improved the set ten-fold and more. Best regards, Bill |
