Steve, Great Zoo and Statue!

Here are two with vastly different approaches.

The Zoo, I mostly in Painter with a reed pen and some diffused water color then brought back to PS and adjusted.

The lady with the pot in the garden was all done in PS. I masked out all the pipes and stuff and added a bamboo background. Did a HSL and Curves and painted the masks for a darker jungle look.

Swampy....Two very nice interpretations...I like the the first one very much...did you do hand sketching?

Lyle...There were many Koi Carp at the park in two seperate places...they are so colorful...So you put them in a globe??? Fun look!

Bet you all thought i would do a flower...here it is!

The yellow hibiscus I did in Photoshop CS2...
Duplicated the image
Separated the flower from the background
Painted the background with the AHB brush and ran Flaming Pears,Flexify on it.
Smudged the flower with Pams water color smudge brush
merged the layers
Lucis art exposure twice and framed with an action...

Patricia....

Thank you, PK! Yes :-) I used a reed pen in Painter. A first for me.

Swampy...Havent tried the reed pen as yet...keep finding unusual brushes on the web and getting sidetracked....You did really well with it!

Here is one i have just been playing with the AHB brush in Photoshop CS2 and then did the aniso filter on it...
