Re: Another interesting face

My first post here and I just had to try this one. Everybody's work is just wonderful and there are so many variations of this man. His face has lots of character.

Re: Another interesting face

I forgot how much fun this is...

Ocean ripples faded, followed by a whole slew of Impressionist faded
with an Impressionist pencil sketch on top, mostly masked out.

Re: Another interesting face

Glad you liked it, Pavel.

You can find the explanation concerning LucisArt "imitation" on this site: Innograph
I can't remember exactly what other steps I used, but there was for sure a duplicate layer on which I ran Impressionist on Old Master at low opacity and then a bit of cutout (probably 8 0 1) very faded.

I hope these steps will put you on the right track.

Good luck!

Sylvia

Sylvia,
"I like it" is an understatement.
Thank you so much for explanations. I've seen some of your latests posts on Innographx. Being a fairly recent innmate (cellmate? roommate?) there, I apperently missed "Impressionist on Old Master" Impresionist settings as well. Can you possibly point me in the right Impressionist direction?

Best regards,
Pavel

I think this guy has a twin on every construction site I've been on.

Re: Another interesting face

Cool that you rediscovered this thread Joe. Like your result too. What filters/tools did you use for yours.

Really like your result too Alan. Impressionst? If so, what preset?

Anyway, needed a reprieve for the junk that I posted earlier. I did a few (well a lot) of preprocessing steps before feeding it into my Van Gogh2 Impressionist preset (with some selective erase throughs (i.e., the eyes) and some additional selective color enhancements (skin).

Re: Another interesting face

Liked all the versions on this one. I think that's because he has such an interesting face. Great character - Great pic. Thanks Janet.
