Alan, thank you.

I was playing with Nik solarize filter. It sort of converted day scene to night (before and after images attached). I did a few additional manipulatons to get "artsy" look -Buzz simplifier, IMP filter, applied distortion map, added moon, painted white outlines of trees with black).

Could you mention there the watercolor IMP set come from. I suppose it was discussed some time earlier on RP. Couldn't find the thread myself.

Pavel...Love your moon pic! Thanks for the details of how you did!!!

Swampy...Another nice one...like the texture too!

Lonnie...I also like your water color, it glows...and thanks for details...will see if i can do it in Photoshop and let you know!!!!

Cardmnal...Lovely soft colors with a nice texture...

Lyle....Thats a different one...the brush strokes work well with the leaves and water...will check the tute later...thanks...

Dan, like you picture.

Kiska, very nice interpretation. I noticed you cropped the pic to move the fir tree to the side. Now I realized what was bothering me about the image in the first place. With that tree in the middle it looked to symmetrical...
