Frank,

Very nice panoramic view.

I have at least 50 more similar shots. Would you like to add them as well

Re: Fall colors, Parry

These pictures are so gorgeous. Beautiful country. Our leaves are just beginning to turn. They should peak in the next week or so. However, it has been too dry here this year for them to be as spectacular as in previous years. That is why I really appreciated your fall colors. Thanks.

Pavel, thanks for letting us play. There's a wealth of great interpretations here. Kiska, I really like your painterly version.

This Artweaver effort is my third attempt at this image. Pre- and post-work in CS2.

This was my second attempt. Done in Impressionist.

Re: Fall colors, Parry

lonnie,

i had a go with your 'challenge'. i dont have that pre-set for impressionist and not sure what your PI colored pencil does/looks like. but i gave it a try. for the colored pencil i substituted colored pencil and i used the 'watercolor: steve's watercolor FB' impressionist pre-set. i also had to add a brightness/contrast adjustment layer to step up the brightness and contrast a fair bit.

it's not quite the same. a different pre-set might work better.

Lonnie's watercolors in PS

Lonnie,
Thank you so much for the link. I had a feeling that IMP presets may be in that thread somethere.

Tried to repeat what you did in PS SC2. Pretty much followed your steps, for black outlines used Poster edges, desaturate (leves, treshold to remove some of the black)
