Janet, I didn't see your nice moody painting when I posted (you must have put yours up while I was in the process). I like.

Steve - I'm guessing Gertrudis on your second one? Like that, too.

Haven't ever seen anyone fishing in that lake. Plenty of choice, easily twenty lakes in five miles radius. Some of the bigger lakes in that region are sort of tourist attraction for fisherman, although fishing is tricky. Bigger lakes are deep and cold, one needs to know the right spots to fish. This area (10,000 acres of so) belongs to a hunting club. Judging by the name ("six pack club") not much hunting is going on either.

Janet...Very nice painting

Combination of Buzz Pro followed by Gertrudis 3.0.

And thanks.

Re: Fall colors, Parry

These scenes remind me of Northern California. Placid lakes and mountains.

The laid-back scenery would make you too lazy to bother fishing anyway.

Very nice, Craig. You got a bit of an emboss look, but you've translated my PI technique well.

You got a great result in PS too, Pavel. The lighter colors are probably even more like a wet watercolor painting would be.

Thanks both for trying my technique.

Close to my neck of the woods. Used the cutout and Impressionist Twenty-Twenty filters.
