Re: Sunday Walk...

Thanks Patricia. Eye Candy Swirl doesn't work all the time (still had to do a lot of selective removal work), but I like the effect. Too bad there doesn't exist a more adaptable filter that can achieve this effect (if so, then my oil renderings would really be just too easy).

Re: Sunday Walk...

Lyle...Here i am really trying with the oil painting etc....and you can get such a good result!!! I was really into filters before i got the painting bug...I still use them at times...Lucis Art, Flaming Pears and xero are my favorites at the moment!!! Think i have some eye candy will have to check them out...

The cat was my best friend for 12 years (the rest of my family would probably feel jealous). He died last spring. Unfortunately I do not have a good photo of him, all pics I had been made with "point and shoot" camera. Recently I start going through my archives trying to get a picture I can re-touch. This is one of the attempts.

Re: Sunday Walk...

Pavel...
I am sorry to hear about your cats death...its so painful to loose a pet and takes forever to get over it! I hope you find some more nice pics and if they are not perfect, i think you could artify them, when you get them all together a montage or collage would be really nice....

Re: Sunday Walk...

Pavel sorry about your cat, but post some pics as Patricia says it is surprising the resluts you can get artifiying, especially smudging etc. ( all mine are point and shoots )

Patricia sorry to hijack your thread

Re: Sunday Walk...

Patricia, Palms... thank you.
Posting a picture at the forum sounds like a great idea. I need to go through what I have to select a few.

Re: Sunday Walk...

Hi Fox...

Glad you like the pictures...

Your painting is lovely...like the paint strokes and the detail on the restaurant is better than on the photo...nice framing too...

Re: Sunday Walk...

Thanks Patricia, I used shadows adjustment and curves to bring out the shadows and the hidden detail. The frame I got from the Corel site.
