| Re: Sunday Walk... years ago, when out taking pictures, i'd sometimes find something in an image that i hadnt even realized was there. i think such is the case with patricia here in one of her images. she's inadvertently captured the very rare woodalantis bird in repose and camoflage mode. these rare birds when on the ground have a natural camoflage that hides them as dead wood or driftwood or whatever happens to be at hand.
having followed patricia that day, i was there shortly after her and managed to disturb the bird into flight and caught the shot just before it took off. |
