kittens for ...painting

These kittens were found by my-worker. She ran a foster home for them for some time. Now the kittens are all adopted and I hear that their owners are very happy with their pets. Their names are: Princess, Akasha and Pierre Trudeau (very distinctive finger). All photos look like a good objects for artification.

The photos are here

Very cute kittens with very distinguished names. So glad there are people like your coworker in the world Pavel123. Here is Pierre in Paint Engine bad chalk.

Re: kittens for ...painting

What a cute kitty! I'm alergic to cats, but not the digital kind. :-)

Minimum Sketch, duped and set to Multiply at 50%. Merged and some saturation tweak. Smart Blur on color layer. Painted back with history brush

A sketch.

Some motivation from DPReview's Retouch forum got me on this binge now. Mixed a version of Flaming Pear's Mr. Contrast with a blend of GIMPressionist with Graphite2 preset all set to Value. Some hue/sat adjustments too.

Patricia, very nice kitten.
I like the background as well, has dreamy quality about it.

Re: kittens for ...painting

Can't resist kittens! So glad they have good homes.

Lovely renditions! I especially love the smudges, Palm and Patricia - that is something I have never learned to do, and I love the look, especially on kitten fur!
