| | | Re: Some new photography work... Littlecoo well spotted, got a book right near my desk here of his work. I really love the way he combines real amazing beautiful craftsmanship with outlandish ideas, and an obsession with rendering/studying light, I have some future projects in mind which kind of work in some of his more optical illusion ideas, just not to sure about the approch yet...
To destroy the magic a bit I'll drop the boat on as I found it. I shot it from lots of difforent angles then spent a few hour building the boat I wanted, but here's a shot right of the camera...(Think I've attatched that shot to this message, but not to sure, if it's not there I'll put up a link tomorrow)
Oh, I've just started a Blog of my work, which kind of goes into how I create my images and some othere video projects I am working on, you can check that out at http://andrewbrooksphotography.com/contact/Blog.php

| | | Re: Some new photography work... Andrew, I found this vector grid amongst my files this morning, and thought you might be interested. If you have Illustrator or similar (or CAD software for that matter) you can tweak around with it. |

| | | Re: Some new photography work... Oh, WOW... I saw the Olive Grove and just had to go Van Gogh. Did some smudging then ran my minimum line art technique, tweaked some layer blend modes and added a little texture. Not "Scream" by any means, but kinda Van Goghish.
For the monestary door, I added a stucco texture then masked that out around the door area.

| | | Re: Some new photography work... Ahhh... Munch... thanks for the correction... I was heading in the direction of Van Gogh's Starry Night, but the result was more like Munche's The Scream. LOL |

| | | Re: Some new photography work... dee dee,
i like your stucco. it works well on the walls. but i find it distracting on the floor below the steps as my eye is looking for a smoother floor area rather than a textured wall type. |

| | | Re: Some new photography work... Wonderful work Andrew. May I suggest that rather than posting this piece to this thread/forum, you post it to the gallery or photography sections. I believe it will get a lot more viewers in either of those places rather than here.
