| | | Creative interpretations: Hawaii Beach It's winter in the U.S., so how about somewhere sunny to play with? (Sorry about the .jpg artifacts.)
Those of you in Australia can laugh anytime. Hope your weather is warm and sunny.
Have fun...

| | | Re: Creative interpretations: Hawaii Beach This one was much too complicated, so I "Simplified" it.
Having first got rid of all the jpeg stuff, a couple of other little tweaks then finished it off with diffuse just to soften the edges a little.

here's my try
...with photoshop, can't recall all the steps... , tried to give it more light as it was dark and heavily saturated

regards | Thanks very much Mohammed.
I love your town! My wife and I visited there several years ago, primarily to see the Lautrec museum.....along with the beautiful Tarn, and the cathedral.
Do you think Lautrec would approve of our computer art?

Yes Albi is a very nice town, I was working at albi's hospital for some time, that's why there is some images of the city on my website
but actually I live in toulouse, bigger city, beautiful too... maybe a bit less picturesque then Albi
Lautrec would certainly approve ;-)... art is not about the means, we're lucky that today the computer make art approach much easier even for those who won't earn a living from it

Cheers | We took the train from Paris and changed trains in Toulouse, so didn't get to spend much time there. But the Albi visit was fantastic for a Toulouse Lautrec fan.
What is the address of your site? Would like to see the photos of Albi.

Hope you'll like it |

| | | Re: Creative interpretations: Hawaii Beach A Photoshop/Painter version. We are having unseasonably warm weather here in Florida - mid 80's most days. Flowers are blooming and I am heading out to mow the yard, so pictures of snow seem exotic to me.

| | | Re: Creative interpretations: Hawaii Beach Here's my go. I found the colors to be much too warm and so I madesome adjustments. From there I used Alien Skins Snap art and a soft brush technique to come up with my own Oil Painted photo based art. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I have enjoyed yours!

| | | Re: Creative interpretations: Hawaii Beach Been extremely busy and not had much time to play, but thought I'd give this a whirl in the new update to Painter. Love the new underpainting and auto painting features of the update. Sure makes things easier for a "non artist" like me.
Used Spater Clone Spray, a Marble rake and then an sketch overlay. |
