Begonia Watercolour

Hi all,

I originally posted this to the wrong department... portraits. Sorry about that. Tried to delete it but I can't.

As stated in my other post, this is my first creative offering for critique. The CS2 steps involved blurring with edges, some colour adjustments and the native watercolour filter. I used a CS2 smudge brush to 'move paint' around. I also colour cloned a small blown out white area. Finally, TriMoon's artpaper provided the watercolour texture. The photo was taken by a friend.

And before I forget. CharlesBell, thank you, so very much, for your lovely compliment on the other page.

Thanks all and cheers,
Sherry

Re: Begonia Watercolour

I like the enhancements you made to the color (for variation in the flowers) and the texture really hits the mark. Well done.

Welcome aboard, Sherry. Hope to see more of your creations in the future.

Re: Begonia Watercolour

Hi all,

Jim, Swampy and Danny... thank you for your warm welcome and comments.

My inspiration for watercolour is John Lovett and Joseph Zbukvic. Never could learn to do it with actual real materials no matter hard long and how hard I tried. Ahh... I still have a few years left in me... maybe one day. :-)

Thanks again.

Sherry
