Re: Trojan is thirsty

Great photos to work with Peter. Very good renditions from everybody.

On mine I started with Swampy's line effect on both ...used Danny's impressionist Oil plug-in on the second image.

Swampy's and Danny's tools are quickly becoming my favorites ...thank you so much for your contributions.

Re: Trojan is thirsty

Nice ones JimJam.

I new you wouldn't let me down.
Not sure which I like best, though i'm leaning a bit to the first.

Pavel you are going to wear out that paint brush of yours. Another Painter one I take it.

Barbara, wellcome back.
Thank you. It was definetely done in Painter, that much I remember clearly. Probably pastel oils.

Re: Trojan is thirsty

Peter, fantastic photo to play with...thanks! I love your version with Lucis... has just the right "smoky" look to it. And your later illustration of the engine is great too.

Ro, great job with AHB... good detail, even in this small file size.

Kroll, what a perfect pic to silhouette! Well done!

Palms, good use of aniso with outline!

Steve, nice "Sunday comics" look... VP collage?

Pavel, I don't know which I like more, your sketch or your painting... both terrific!

JimJam, love that orange sketchy one!

Re: Trojan is thirsty

Thanks Phyllis, I've got loads of pics I've taken from this place (my kids love going there), but if I posted them all people would get bored of train pictures I think.
By the way thats not all smoke from the engine, it was a very overcast day so its mostly clouds (British weather for you), but I was pleased how it turned out.

And I have to agree with you about the other posts - all very very good. Though I think I prefer Pavels Sketchy thing more myself.

Peter
