Very lovely, Patricia! Remember, even Phyllis S. has posted in the past that she had trouble learning how to use Painter. Your time has obviously been well spent.

Oh what beautiful flowers! I can almost smell them . Just thought I'd give this one a shot too and add a hungry little hummingbird. I'm still learning..

Re: Pink Hyacinths

You guys have been having too much fun! :-)

Thanks for the photo, Palms! I thought I would do a product display.

Smudged a selection of one of the hyacinths and added a background of a field in the Netherlands. I felt the white flowers that were on the left of the background photo were too stark so I added a color layer to put some pink tint back in the flowers.

Beefed up the sky with HSL and added the text.

A slight outer glow to the pull out flower and a border to finish it off.

Re: Pink Hyacinths

dee dee,

you definitely have the 'travel brochure' thing down pat

had another go at this... too many steps and too convoluted and just plain lost track to recall all the steps.

Re: Pink Hyacinths

Thanks, Craig. Post cards from the swampy... or, in this case, the Netherlands. LOL

I really like the "jiggle" or "glass" effect in yours, Craig. Great touch.

Re: Pink Hyacinths

Swampy and Craig, such different takes on the same subject and both of them are so very well done.
