The King and his harem Usually when driving down this road, one only sees the cows. Today the bull was out as well. I was lucky the light was just right and he wasn't moving much at all. Enjoy the King and his little harem. Janet

Re: The King and his harem Janet -- timing right, light right, AND you were prepared by having your camera ready! He does look very regal in bearing. Thanks for sharing. We'll have fun working on him and his ladies!

Re: The King and his harem I'm glad ya'll are enjoying yourselves. I'm liking what I see so far. Lyle, yours looks like a piece of fabric. Kiska, you hit the mark. The bull would have been in the same shot had it not been at the full extension of the lens. Someone asked for the camera data: 400 mm, 200 ISO, 250th sec, F5.6. Taken about 3:30 p.m. just as the light was getting ready to leave the little valley where the elk graze. I could have gotten closer but there is a NO TRESPASSING sign and a fence. Therefore, I cropped. Thumbs up to all. Janet
