Alan -- love the original and your impasto!

Steve - Sunset fits nicely, and the comic art works also. I love the sunset glow.

Peter - Like it! -- the lighting and the mood!

I used Swampy's sketch routine as a start, then added selections to get the sky colors back and did a bit of dry brush...

Thank you CJ, though looking at it again - the sky could have been a lot better, I'm satisfied with the barn though.

Looking at yours. I can definitely say you must have done this sort of thing before - nice one.

Thanks....love to work on pics of old weathered buildings. And this one is very nice.

Ooo.. Card, this was a fun photo to work on.

Pen and ink wash...

Started with "Swampy's Line drawing" on a saturated duplicate.
Smudged the resulting black and white layer.

I really like this one. I enjoyed all of the interprations, but especially the Snap-Art Impasto (may need to get that one

Mine is just some edge art (Mehdi * AAA) and simplifications (Buzz & PSP).

I agree with Jeff this is a good one with great postings already, messed around with colour but will have to try some ahb work tomorrow

Very nice first one Palms Jury's still out on the second though.
Maybe you could give us some tips on using AHB,I don't seem to get anywhere with it myself' though I can be impatient at times.
