Hi Pavel. Nice place and very "artsy" photos.

Two attempts with different styles

Re: Trees, snow... and more snow

Alex, great work
Palms, like your ahb

My piece seemed too "filtered", so I messed it up a bit in Painter.

I like snow, but I know a lot of people in our area who would think you are very lucky.
Nice rendition, looks like snow storm, seen a good share this year.

Peter, love your first rendition.
Could you say a few words how you did it.
I can see some aniso is involved, a sketch may be.... beyond that I'm lost.

OK to the best of my recollection.

Noise reduction, quite heavy settings (twice), Into Lucis to bring out some detail and contrast, then aniso rotate 90, aniso, rotate back, then one light pass through noise reduction again to catch some stray pixels that appeared. Then levels to taste.
There may have been a little colour adjustment but can't remember.
I have used the cutout filter before on this sort of thing but don't think I did on this one.
Hope that helps.

Lucis loves snow.
Aniso loves trees - ask Craig he knows.

Thank you Swampy. To tell the truth I very nearly didn't post it, I may redo this one sometime, a lot differently.
