Yes; a cool looking lamb Swampy. Just playing with ACE and Grain Extract (some smudging too, but kept it to a minimum; mainly to hide the hack cloning job).

Re: Little Lamb - Have fun

Thanks, Swampy -- I love lambs! We had sheep when I was a child and I still picture those adorable little babies jumping stiff-legged during play-time and wriggling their tails while feeding from mama.

Tried to abstract the surroundings and emphasize that cute face and soft wool... used some g-blur, chalk/charcoal, etc.

Re: Little Lamb - Have fun

I used a totally different approach, which didn't include painting but did include lots of masking. Still not perfect, but good enough for now.

I love sheep. Dumbest animals alive but so cute.

Janet: Beautiful!
CJ: Nice painting, might need a tad more saturation?

Here's mine. Cleanup, Pattern Stamp Tool.

Re: Little Lamb - Have fun

Nice work everyone. Thanks Swampy... the cuddly little lambykin was a fun break from digging the veggie garden down 1 foot, turning soil and pulling out tree roots... oohhh my back!

Watercolour smudge.

Cheers,
Sherry

Swampy--- what texture did you use on the lamb picture? Looks great --- is that the last thing you do is to add texture? I've noticed if you go back and try to do anything alse after the texture is added you loose it to some degree.

I think I used a PS texture called (appropriately) lambswool. I always try to add texture as the last step and add it to a merged version of the painting.
