Quaint old town

Since I've participated in so many of the offerings in this forum, I thought it was about time I contributed a source or two. This lovely photo was taken by my cousin a few years ago in Wismar, Germany. (Permission has been granted to us to play.) I thought you'd all have fun artifying it.

You can find a larger (334KB) version here.

Re: Quaint old town

Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture with us, Lonnie.
I used different layers of Impressionist, some pattern stamp tool on top and Buzz.

Re: Quaint old town

Great pictures make great art! Used Snap Art watercolor filter in PSCS2 followed by lots of color manipulation via adjustment layers. Did some cloning and painting on several layers set to "Color" blending mode using a Wet Sponge brush.

Is there a zoo nearby?

Sylvia and Palms, nice renditions.

Way too easy with ACE.

Did selectively boost the saturation too. Here's the complete rendering. Attached is a low quality crop.

Re: Quaint old town

Sort of a sepia painting, if there is such a thing.
