You should know, Steve. How much rain did you get up there?

Not enough. We could use a week of steady rain to get back to normal.

Re: Albeck Pier

A week? It would take us about 6 months of rain every day to come anywhere near normal. Last year they drew down Lake Okeechobee because they were afraid the levees would break and flood the "north end of Cuba". Now we are paying for that mistake. What water we do have up here they pump off to the southern populus and nobody's telling them to stopl watering yards down there! It's gonna come down to water wars.

Water wars it probably will be. The frogs in our pond were happy last night though.....very loud little critters, especially right after a rain.

Re: Albeck Pier

Looks like everyone enjoyed doing this photo. There sure is a variety of interpretations. Great stuff indeed.

Since I threw the original photo in the queue, I supposed I had better contribute an artification too, eh? After straightening (horizon was slightly askew) and cropping for composition, I had fun with this image. Much of my effort went into color -- saturation and hue distribution. I wanted something similar to a hand colored etched print.
