The original which was about 5 or 600 KB looked a bit sharper, but we can't have everything.

I wish I could paint like that. Actually it's all smoke and mirrors. I applied an assortment of adjustment layers (don't remember what right now) and blends and flattened the image. Then I ran it through Alien Skin's Snap Art Impasto plugin. Finally I duped the layer and used the emboss filter, set to multiply, and reduced the opacity.
