Here is my latest painting.

Dup the layer, select dupped layer as source for AHB, paint over with rough dry brush. Increase saturation, increase contrast. Dup layer, desaturate, filter with high pass to a low value, blend with soft light. increase contrast on high pass layer. Merge down high pass layer and first dupped layer, sign and save.

Here are two versions, one 800x600 for you dial up types and a full size version to get a better look a the effect.

rab3rd, that is a different look than many techniques I see - I like the look. Are you going to show us the original photo so we can see the differences? You certainly have succeeded in removing any resemblance to a photo.

Thanks for looking and commenting. I was begining to think no one liked it. I am really just learning and dont know what is right or wrong so I just mess around and hope for the best. Sure I would be happy to share the original photo. If others wish to play with it and post their version, please do.....
