| | | Maybe Watercolor? Hi to all of you "retouch-Masters",
I have a nice shot of a chinese Restaurant located in Berlin which actually cries for an art-retouch. Give it a try at will...

| | | Re: Maybe Watercolor? amica, nice pic. i like your texture on most of the image. it's just the sky where it stands out as being a pattern and i'm just not used to patterns as being the texture. i like the overall; it's just that texture in the sky that distracts me. but, i suppose that's a personal taste thing. |

| | | Re: Maybe Watercolor? Thanks for playing..I knew you would do..all of you..taking my breath away. Nice works and I can't tell which one I like best...they all look absolutely unique.
@Kraellin, you are absolutely right, the texture takes up too much place. Will try to improve.
@LonK, I knew it was a bit of a crooky shot, but you proved as I expected: not much of a prob for you cracks :-) The food there is good, but I know places where it is better, although they lack the atmosphere given here.
@Palms, I like your technique. Any chance of a mini tutorial?
@Swampy, thank you. Nice work. like what you did to the edges..:-)
@Steve, come on over..:-) sweet looking:-) |

| | | Re: Maybe Watercolor? Nice picture
Started off thinking about a watercolor but as usual went in several different directions. Did a slight Buzz and then my thinking was that a watercolor effect would mute some of the colors - so I ramped up the colors - but then went down the chalky sketchy road.
The left image is a process I've been messing with and the right effect is done with Little Ink Pot's Chalkaholic plug-in. Both done in Paint Shop Pro 9 because I like to use their Quick Photo Fix process

| | | Re: Maybe Watercolor? Ok - I just couldn't resist it
While I'm tryng to learn Swampy's watercolor technique and Palm's Art History Brush technique - which are both terrific - but I'm slow and I need to go repair a broken sprinkler very soon now... so, I just submit these two and get to my chores
Slight Buzz and Pencil Pixel's wc action on the left - and Neimen action on the right

| | | Re: Maybe Watercolor? Some very nice interpretations. Thank you Amica for sharing this very nice photo.
My interpretation is based on Photoshop action " ART-Oils by Ted LaCascio" available among the actions here: http://www.geocities.com/kafuensis/ |
