Creative Interpretations - Cute Colt

Have fun with this little guy.

I did mine using Trimoon's sketch action plus some tweaks.

Re: Creative Interpretations - Cute Colt

Been on an oil binge of late, so I thought I would try a few tricks for this one too. I used Paint Engine with Artic preset (some selective cleaning) to start things off. I then blended in Eye Candy Jiggle and canvas (varying degrees of canvas based on brighteness tones). I finally copied the original and did an edge detect that I set to darken and blended that in too (selectively) to give that pre-sketch look that most paintings start out with.

I love pictures of horses there is something about them, but that is as far as it goes, as they are bigger than me and have teeth, As a youngster we used to go horse riding except i would walk the horse and not get on them ( hope Peter dosent read that, )

Did a kind of smudge, then realized there were a lot of these posted, so threw in a B&W rendition.

Caught ya!!! I see just a tad of color (green) in the trees just over the fence line on the left side. 20 lashes with a wet noodle.. :-)

Now see, Steve, Palms loves horse shots, so get out in the horse country and take some pics to paing! Heeehee

Awrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! I saw that too, and left it 'cause I was in a hurry. Should have known "Ole Eagle Eye" would spot it. In case you haven't figured out why it was left, I painted over the first one I posted, (after saving it, of course).

Not planning to head to horse farm country any time soon. But I am going down to Polk county in a day or two. If I can stand the heat, I may go over to Bok Tower and Cypress Gardens. Don't know yet.
