Re: flowers in vase

Phew you have all been busy, And I have only been away for a few days ! ! ! ! !

That is another good one Sharynideas the background is beautiful and i cant think of a way to improve it. And i say yes start a thread with a frog, after all halloween will be here soon, and i havent seen one posted before.

Dont worry Steve i have a taken a few non flower photo's that i will post soon

Mitch the clarity on the first one is super it looks really crisp and clean, will have to come back to your workflow on that one. The shattered one is excellent, unfortunately i did harm the asters they have now died and I will have to arrange a decent send of for them inviting Steve and Peter of course

Saby i like the look of yours may i ask how you did it ?

Peter that one is gorgeous love the colour and overall effect of it, reading through the posts i thought i would be able to work the toad link in, but you got there with that as well

GerryB your ahb interpretaion is superb it has a lovely softness to it, well done.

Cricket glad you did one of these now all i need to do is take a photo like it

Bcarl that is gorgeous ( i am fast running out of words here there ) I adore the softness of the flower heads, can you give us a brief run down of grushes used etc.

Chillin what can i say the overall effect is great the flowers have a look of what you would find in a victorian botanical book

lkroll i cant be bored with your lace binge as it is the first i have seen will have a look at the links you have posted later

Phew sorry for the length of this post, I know i am probaly biased but i think this is one of the best threads ever, the quality of work shown here is absolutely excellent and deserves a big pat on the back to all

You could download the Paint Shop Pro demo to do that or tell me which ones you want to be saved as psd's & I'll do it for you.
I'm leaving on vacation in a few days and will be gone until next month. When I get back I'll have a look on that site again. If I can't get a copy of PSP I'll let you know what frames I'd like, if that's alright.

Thanks for the compliment. My wife and I will be on vacation for a few weeks but when I get back, I've got a couple ideas for a twist on the AHB. If they turn out, I'll post something to show.

Re: flowers in vase

First effort, in Phot0shop CS3..layers, find edges, blur...I liked it well enough not to bother with texturing, but maybe that's the next step...

Re: flowers in vase

I have to agree with Palms Ziaphra very nice.
So I had to have another go myself.
Sorry Palms I worked so much on them, the first one of them seems to have melted.
