Re: Rotherham show

Nice pics people,
Palms...very deep reading, and a little too religious for me , seems a bit strange having a "passion flower" in Rotherham!.....I must admit tho' I'm suprised people got anything to grow here after all the flooding we had.
Lonnie...so the cityscape is one you've created from scratch?
John

No, I didn't create this particular cityscape, John, though I have built others. There are numerous premade scenes and props available from daz3d.com, contentparadise.com, etc. for Poser, DAZ Studio, Bryce, Carrera, Hexagon, Mimic, etc.

Also a little Redfields and a frame added for good measure.

Glad you bought this method back up Peter, i was looking for my notes on it last week and couldnt find them so i was going to trawl through some old threads to find it works brilliant on the passion flower

Sorry Britsdad for the heavy reading i probably could of found a lighter one but was in a rush, Just thought it was a interesting fact, one my mother told me about years ago, funnily enough it is about the only plant that has flourished this year in my garden because of all the rain !

Re: Rotherham show

Hi all,
Great pics from all here.
I changed the sky layer to make it look higher, ran that layer through Snapart Impasto.

Balloon layer through Virtual Painter Impasto.

Re: Rotherham show

Britsdad, thanks for such lovely pictures!
LonK, I really like the peaceful feeling of the tranquil flowers contrasting the cityscape.
I wanted to try my hand at one of the balloons and thought about putting it in outer space but decided against that. I have a tendency to go too dark with things. Anyway, I cloned/patched out the tie-downs, posterized, played around with a selective color layer, and used Impressionist chalk to finish up.
