Creative interpretations: Bridge at sunset

"Lots of sky" in this one, but a pretty shot nonetheless...

Re: Creative interpretations: Bridge at sunset

Sort of a watercolor on canvas. Agree that sky was too much, so I reduced the size using GIMP Liquid Rescale filter.

Click here for the complete rendering.

Re: Creative interpretations: Bridge at sunset

the only thing I used was Colored Foil, thought it was neat how the sky turned out.

Re: Creative interpretations: Bridge at sunset

I've been playing with this for quite a while now, originally intending to end up with a nice, sharp, b&w sketch, but... I got sidetracked, playing with the ahb and this is what I ended up with.

I love the drama in yours, Carole. Palms, I agree with Carole that yours is frame-and-hang worthy. Summerz, colored foil looks like it would be fun to work with. Lk, that is really nice; at first I didn't click on the link to the full version and didn't get the full effect by viewing the smaller one.

Re: Creative interpretations: Bridge at sunset

DannyRaphael: I love the sense of space and stillness in your creation. The horizon slopes a little but I can forgive that, considering the earthquakes you folks are subjected to

Beautifully done.

Thanks for your kind words, but not "my" picture. It's one from the "Stock Exchange" site. (See link in the first post.)

re: Horizons slope due to earthquakes, etc.

True enough...
and frequent cups of strong coffee, too.
