| | | Creative Interpretations: Oak Leaves The oak leaves are blazing this week so I decided to capture some of autumn's splendor. Get your crayons out!

The leaves here are just now "thinking" about turning...but not the oaks. We never get such brilliant colors in the oaks. Brown, brown, brown. You must have really good soil and just the right mix of weather.
Thanks for sharing.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations: Oak Leaves We get some rather nice fall colors in north Florida mainly from our maples. A few other varieties help out too. Nothing like farther north, but pretty colorful nevertheless.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations: Oak Leaves Such a nice picture. Here in Southern Calif our season changes are so subtle that we miss out on the kind of fall weather that some of you get.
I used Lucis filters and Buzz action stacks with this image, and used different overlay modes to get this effect.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations: Oak Leaves These are such lovely examples of a beautiful, I just couldn't resist painting them.
The examples above mine are wonderful. I could see a lot of them printed and hung as art on a wall in our homes.

| | | Re: Creative Interpretations: Oak Leaves I thought this picture would be a good time to try out a tryptich. I don't know how well it will show up at low res though. I haven't taken the plunge to set up a gallery anywhere yet. Any suggestions?
