Re: So you like trucks...

Palms... Here's a trick for rendering a halftone.

1. Image > Size > 200% (Constrain Proportions)
2. Sketch > Halftone Pattern
3. Image > Size > 50% (Constrain Proportions)

Play with this and see what ya get.

I like the creative showcase you built here. I'm especially interested in the halftone rendition. I can't ever seem to get that filter to work properly. What settings did you use? I can see all sorts of applications for that one.

Using Image > Image size I increased resolution from 72 ppi to 144 ppi. With FG/BG colors = Black/White, Sketch > Halftone Pattern was applied with Size=3, Contrast=8 and Pattern=Dot, applied automatically via the action. Settings for this effect are definitely resolution and length/width dependent. Lucky guess in this case.

I'll bet you don't!

Re: So you like trucks...

A belated welcome to TangentMemory. "Art" takes on many forums and we're pretty flexible here.

Welcome aboard and jump in anytime.

This version: This is what happens when you start messing around with BW conversions and layer blend modes -- and lose track of "How I got here."

Cool truck, Janet. I thought I'd move it to a more harmonious setting.

Nice work on the background replacement.
