Potter's Wheel

I took this picture this weekend in the California foothills and thought it would make a good project. Have fun.

Re: Potter's Wheel

They frequently have "festivals" near where I live and one can get great shots of old costumes and crafts. Nice one.

Re: Potter's Wheel

Fun photo, Klautt! I you did a good job capturing his scruffy beard and harry arms. What detail. I tried to retain that look in my watercolor.

Re: Potter's Wheel

Nice work all; and a great picture for expanding my horizons artistically. Thank you for sharing it.

Mine is a little off the beaten path and totally not where I wanted it to go originally. A little bit of cat's claws, pain, and bad eyes had me hitting the wrong filter. And now, thanks to the cat, I have something I liked even better.

Re: Potter's Wheel

Lighter oil this time. Used Kent's brush pattern that he packaged in a recent release of his Illustration action for this one.

Nice work. Tell the cat he/she has a good touch with the claws
