I found some mittens at REI that the fingers and thumb pull back to let you do fine work. I always take them with my gear when it might get cold.

This is my first attempt after installing Leopard. I had to do an "erase and install" so I had to reinstall and configure all my software. What a pain. There was something wrong with my Tiger setup that wouldn't let me do an update. At least I had all my data and stuff on my two external drives.

I've just spent time looking at each entry in this thread. There are some amazing renditions. I admit to being disappointed in the color saturation of the photo. It sure didn't look that bleak to my mind's eye. However, it has been very worthwhile to have posted it and having watched the transformations. I'm pleased you all like one of my favorite places to shoot.
